Good essay. And especially important, coming on the heels of a similar Times of Israel piece featuring genocide scholar Sara Brown (link below). While I don't 100% agree with all of your evidentiary examples (especially #3, because Hamas is manipulating images-and there is hunger, for many reasons, in Gaza), your broader point holds up. Media outlets have become increasingly lazy (and thus complicit) in mischaracterizing this conflict. And the general public will accept the unrepresentative IAGS vote at face value. Sadly, this is nothing new: Huge numbers of people are being unwittingly manipulated by a Hamas/Al Jazeera information war. Our world is being infected by the forces of disinformation and conspiracy (on many issues, not just Israel). But antisemitism is always rooted in scapegoating, "othering", and conspiratorial thinking. And it's time to expose the absurdity of the "anti-Zionist" arguments. https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/member-of-genocide-association-says-groups-leadership-pushed-through-israel-condemnation-without-discussion/?fbclid=IwY2xjawMkmU1leHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHuyfDRcQWnrE6K32F154sUWh-dAFusIgG3MakuHQdZHGCrMCq0VjZ5eSkb7v_aem_LZk_QGVKO5-ZzL6u0UlR7g
